See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna

I think its so hilarious and tiring that people expect perfection out of everything. Theres a difference in finding something to be ‘inaccurate, not a telling you like or characters not done the way you deem is correct’ like people rag on with Lore Olympus and then actual critique of a show like Velma that is built on outdated stereotypes. One is you’re irritated because the story isn’t what you want and the other is like an actual issue. And also. Most importantly if you dont like a piece of media. Dont interact with it. No ones forcing you. So just have less negativity in your life and do something else with that time and energy. And the people that like it dont have to deal with ur hate for it and we can just all have a crumb less of negativity in our life.

AI chan might be cute, but stealing art isn’t‼️

Deciding to be an artist for a living is honestly a pretty dumb decision. You get told by everyone it’s unrealistic, you’ll never be good enough, it’s not a real job etc. Still, you decide to try, you battle your negative thoughts daily as you start to second guess whether this path was meant for you - thinking of giving up several times. But you just can’t, it’s the only thing you want to do in life. You need to be a little dumb to follow this path, otherwise you’d be blinded by reason.

When AI samples images from us without permission, they’re not just taking data. They’re taking a lifetime of dedication and putting it into a program, just to spit out some amalgamation of what is supposed to mimic human expression.

Its current implementation is unethical and should be illegal. Current AI was trained on the non-consensual use of people's work and copyrighted material. There are no laws in place to protect artists, and there is no compensation for your work being used. Until the software starts to exclusively stick to art that is royalty free or with the artists permission, I ask you all to boycott AI and support human artists.

Hey, do y’all remember how Tencent said they were developing faceID AI to identify people in riots, and then they suddenly created an AI art generator to turn your selfies into anime?

Do y’all remember that time that someone discovered facial recognition cameras couldn't see through Juggalo makeup, then Facebook had a fun “see what you'd look like with Juggalo makeup” thing, and then facial recognition cameras could suddenly see through Juggalo makeup?

Do y’all remember how, on Twitter, Elon started a tirade against artists who ask for credit when their art is reposted, and he suddenly he created one of the first big art AI programs?

Do y’all remember how AI destroyed the field of freelance translation, despite the inferiority of the machine translations, because companies didn’t care about the quality of the translations? They just wanted it done for free?

Do y’all know how companies will see a lot of money going into a New Tech Thing (like, say, AI art apps) and will jump to try and implement that New Tech Thing into their tech? For example, how it felt like every big company and celebrity had an NFT to sell?

Just wondering.
